| Instrumentation: | Three Geometrics ? split-beam cesium vapour magnetometers mounted in aircraft wingtip pods (transverse gradient) and tail boom (longitudinal gradient); ? base station mag |
| Data Recorded: | Total field mag; transverse & longitudinal mag gradient |
| Comments: | Project funded from the Offshore Geoscience Data Program, Energy Plan, Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources. The northern 2/3 of the survey area (blocks B, C1 and C2) was flown by Goldak Airborne Surveys; southern 1/3 (Block A) was flown by Terraquest Airborne Geophysics Ltd. Open File maps were released Feb. 27, 2013. DGRF for year 2012.58 removed from Total Field Mag data to yield residual; transverse and longitudinal gradients were determined from sensor differences; derived first and second vertical derivatives. Data processing is described in detail in the report. |
